Applications for the FARSe 2019 are open!
The FARSe, Festival des Arts de la Rue de Strasbourg, is a unique festival: coordinated and organised directly by a City in collaboration with an artistic advisor from the Street Arts. This organisation allows Strasbourg to gather an outside view and an appropriate sensitivity as close as possible to the actors in the discipline. It is the guarantee of freedom of creation and expression in the public space.
Each year, FARSe positions itself a little more as one of the major Street Arts events at the national level.
For the past 4 years, the festival has been inviting a street artist to see the city in a new light where initiated and novice audiences can enjoy themselves and discover the magic of the street. An eternal rediscovery of the experience that only Street Arts can offer.
The 2018 edition, under the artistic direction of Claire Ducreux (choreographic artist), welcomed more than thirty French and international companies and presented 80 performances over 3 days!
It is a human and artistic meeting, in search of emotions to transmit and joyful unexpected events. To continue to make it unique, and to propose new artistic forms and experiences, we are launching applications for its 5th edition which will be held on the 9, 10 and 11 August 2019.
To you artists and companies, whether you are beginners or experienced, the FARSe team welcomes all aspirations!
